The Colored Cells Sorter add-in for Microsoft® Excel® allows you to sort rows based on color. It is compatible with Microsoft Excel 2013-2024 and Office 365.

Using the first option, sort by color, lets you sort by font color or background color. The Colored Cells Sorter lets you place the colored cells either at the top or at the bottom.

The second option, show or hide rows based on color, opens a dialog that gives you options to show or hide cells based on background color and/or font color — for example, displaying just the yellow cells without sorting.

To redisplay any hidden rows, just use the third option on the main dialog, which redisplays hidden rows.
