The Column Assistant add-in for Microsoft Excel makes moving columns left or right on worksheets very easy. It is compatible with Microsoft Excel 2010-2021 and Office 365.

The Column Assistant adds a menu, which can be easily displayed on Excel's quick access toolbar (just right click on the dropdown button and add it to the toolbar):
